The Manta Ray kayak paddle is for High-angle paddlers looking for maximum horsepower and control. The Manta Ray Hybrid offers a full carbon fiber shaft with fiberglass reinforced blade.
The refined, stronger Manta Ray blade provides a smoother forward stroke with less chances for flutter, stiffer feel, and quieter entry and exit to preserve energy for longer trips. 102.5 sq. inch “oversized” blade design provides better horsepower and control, most commonly associated with high-angle forward strokes and is the ideal size for boat maneuverability.
The 100% carbon fiber shaft is the lightest yet strongest material option available today. Paddling with a light and strong shaft is less fatiguing and more enjoyable on long trips. The shaft is ovalized where the hands go for more comfort and control while limiting blisters. The upgraded Fiberglass and Nylon blade material is stronger and thicker for strength and durability.
